Textbooks with a step-by-step, linear presentation are behind the times. Students need content to evolve according to their academic progress and quiz results. To bring adaptiveness to life, the whole learning content should be structured and subdivided into the smallest possible chunks. Each chunk should contain the necessary meta-information.

DET is developing their own standard for design, storage and distribution learning content based on a non-linear model. Therefore, you can create courses that adjust to a student’s interests and cognitive abilities: this approach improves efficiency and reduces the amount of time spent on studying. Students can learn at their own pace; they will be more engaged and independent.
The standard is based on the SCORM and xAPI specifications; it describes how to work with a non-linear model.
Using our standard, any educational platform can create its own adaptive content, transfer it or obtain it from any other educational platforms.

Usage of Adaptive Courses
No more than 4% of students complete self-study courses: they lose interest in the process rather quickly — this is related to the non-specialized, linear, «bookish» presentation of material which is geared towards a particular learning style

Adaptive courses interwoven with self-study sustain student interest: an individual style of teaching, a «face-to-face» technique is for the most part achieved by this particular approach, which maintains a high-quality learning process over the whole course of learning.
Applying non-linear adaptive content to supervised training creates unlimited opportunities. For instance, teachers can assign a task to the majority of the class without focusing on how complex it is for each student, while working with one particular student individually in the meantime. Teachers can give quizzes to the class without worries: students won’t copy each other’s work as everyone gets an individual task. The system automatically compiles the results and shows them to teachers.

Computerized study
Our Intelligent Learning Platform automatically experiments with various learning strategies and content variations by selecting the most effective learning method for each student. This is possible thanks to atomicity, non-linear content, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions.
